Congratulations to Dr. John Hugh Gillis Regional High School Student, Harmony Adesola, on Earning First Place in the ECMA TD Music Moves Me Program

Congratulations to Harmony Adesola, a Grade 11 student at Dr. John Hugh Gillis Regional High School, who won first place for his music video in the 2018 East Coast Music Association-TD’s Music Moves Me Program. 

The first place prize includes:

  • $1000 for the school's music program;
  • a ticket for Harmony and one adult chaperone to attend the East Coast Music Awards Show in Halifax on Thursday, May 3, 2018;
  • A performance during the 2018 ECMAs; and
  • Guaranteed acceptance to the free TD Soundwaves Student Conference on Friday, May 4, 2018.

Harmony will be performing at the ECMA 30th Anniversary Kick-Off Waterfront Concert alongside Mo Kenney, Ashley MacIsaac, MAJE, Port Cities and Kalolin Johnson.  This concert takes place on Wednesday, May 2, 2018.

In addition, Harmony, along with two other finalists, will take part in the TD Soundwaves Student Conference, which is a day of songwriting, performance and music business workshops.
